THE WORK:
- You’ll be responsible for the overall management, reporting, and coordination of Contract Administration and Procurement III, II, and I staff, ensuring effective oversight of procurements and commercial management activities across programs and projects.
- You’ll manage team dynamics and performance‑related matters, including reviewing and approving timesheets, vacation requests, employee evaluations, and engagement activities.
- You’ll liaise with applicable stakeholders, when required, to address team performance, deliverable issues, and commercial strategies and benefits.
- You’ll provide leadership and direction to commercial teams as they develop and deploy new commercial plans, processes, administration methods, and reporting approaches, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and desired outcomes.
- You’ll contribute to planning, developing, and executing human and material resource requirements needed to successfully administer procurements, contracts, and other commercial components.
- You’ll guide staff in formulating resource allocation strategies and apply these strategies to distribute work across contracts, claims, procurements, and other commercial matters.
- You’ll exercise authority in managing work and controlling contract and procurement activities, ensuring commercial requirements and deliverables align with established plans.
- You’ll monitor staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to scope, schedule, budget, deadlines, policies, and procedures, addressing performance issues promptly.
- You’ll identify commercial and performance risks, implement mitigation and contingency plans, prepare change requests, and negotiate contract scope changes.
- You’ll track, monitor, and report on performance against contractual requirements, schedules, milestones, budgets, quality measures, and KPIs, taking corrective action when needed.
- You’ll evaluate contract performance effectiveness through consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- You’ll develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to diverse audiences, including contract teams, senior executives, and key stakeholders.
- You’ll engage in ongoing quality control, clarify internal quality checks, and participate in resolving quality‑related issues.
- You’ll define success criteria and communicate them to all relevant parties throughout the contract and program life cycle.
- You’ll recommend and interpret contract and program expectations, delegating and managing deliverables with both the team and stakeholders.
- You’ll complete any tasks assigned by the Contract Administration and Procurement V or higher efficiently and on time
$125,000 - $175,000 a year
