Global Services Legal (GSL) team is a strategic partner and product counsel to the five Services of Accenture, i.e. Song, Strategy & Consulting, Industry X, Technology and Operations.

The GSL team’s mission is to help the Accenture business to grow in a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable way, by providing early-stage legal advice and support in relation to the key business strategies and priorities.

Global Services Legal is seeking to appoint an attorney with 5+ years’ legal experience as part of Industry X .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide input into and shape strategic decisions that impact Industry X, with an emphasis on support to the leadership team of Industry X in the Growth Markets and a subset of Industry X's global Solution Leads;

• Assess new Industry X solutions and guide them to market in a legally compliant manner with appropriate risk mitigations (contractual, operational, technical);

• Develop guidance, guardrails and playbooks to enable Accenture’s Sales & Delivery Legal team to efficiently support client transactions;

• Team with Accenture’s regulatory and compliance counsel to synthesize and apply regulatory and compliance advice, including anticipating the impact of regulatory changes on the Industry X business;

• Play a key role in escalations and, in collaboration with colleagues from Quality and Enterprise Risk Management, continuously improve Industry X’s overall governance and risk management;

• Work with stakeholders across Corporate Functions to evolve Accenture policies and procedures to accommodate the requirements of the Industry X business;

• Help evaluate prospective acquisition targets on behalf of the Industry X business, conduct due diligence, and shape post-merger integration strategies; and
