Oversee and conduct legally privileged investigations of allegations of misconduct related to financial and regulatory matters received through Accenture's various reporting channels, which includes:
• Defining the scope and developing an investigation plan
• Notifying appropriate personnel
• Conducting interviews
• Compiling investigation status and reports
• Recommending and implementing appropriate corrective measures
• Provide risk-related legal advice and appropriate remedial actions to senior business and HR leadership
• Manage internal and external resource teams
• Supervise, train and support attorneys and other investigation professionals assembled to conduct investigations
• Stay current on legal developments affecting investigations, whistleblower rights, defendants’ rights and compliance-related standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Experience conducting and supervising investigations, including experience in:
• Conducting Code of Ethics/financial fraud investigations
• Dealing with regulatory and government investigations
• Preparing confidential legal reports and advising senior leadership on ethical conduct, compliance-related risks and personnel-related remedial actions
• Conducting associated litigation and/or employment litigation
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
