"At Accenture, we have an unwavering commitment to diversity, and we thrive on creating a culture of inclusion. In order to become one of the world’s most innovative companies, it is crucial that our teams are filled with a wide range of perspectives and experiences."
Small changes make a big difference
At Accenture, we believe in making a positive difference every day for our stakeholders—our clients, investors and partners.
Our commitment to equality includes making our people feel that they truly belong at Accenture. As a business imperative, everyone in our organisation must, in their own way, help make each other feel included, needed and wanted.
Together, our actions—big or small—contribute to an impact that’s greater than ever.
Mariyang yapung (Onward path)
Accenture is pleased to introduce our first Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and artwork created by artist and Wonaruah woman Saretta Fielding. The RAP brings our many existing partnerships with First Nations organisations and communities into a formal, coordinated program of work that we can report on, learn from and build on each year.
Accenture’s position as partner to many of the leading businesses, organisations and governments affords us both an extraordinary opportunity and a huge responsibility to make a difference. Although Accenture is a global organisation, we have a strong Australian heritage that drives us to both celebrate the contributions of First Nations peoples – and to try to address the inequities that have persisted in this country across generations.
By delivering on our RAP and bringing our vision to life, we can help change Australia for the better, creating a more reconciled nation where First Nations peoples have the respect, opportunities and rights they deserve, and our people have pride in working for our company.
Our inclusive culture
When you work with us, you can bring your whole self to work every day.
Inclusion and diversity are central to our culture and core values—it makes us stronger, more competitive and more creative. We believe at our core that equality drives innovation.
We believe the future workforce is an equal one. That’s why we’re committed to a 50/50 gender-balanced workforce by 2025. And we strive to ensure our teams are compensated fairly and equitably.
Cross cultural and indigenous
We embrace our indigenous heritage and culture, and our ambition is to foster an internal culture where everyone feels they have an equal opportunity to belong and build a career.
Empowering disability inclusion
We are committed to accelerating equality for all, creating an inclusive, accessible workplace that empowers disability inclusion.
Healthy minds network
We encourage our teams to proactively manage their mental health and maintain good habits. Our Healthy Minds Network helps give people confidence to seek the support they need.
Our goal is to be the employer of choice for veterans and reservists, by building innovative partnerships that ensure veterans, reservists and their spouses succeed in their new careers with us.
Working with leading organisations whose values align to our own.
With You With Me
Accenture have partnered with WYWM who equip veterans with the skills they need to fill job gaps in the market so that they can transition from the military to active members of civilian society.
Stepping up to support our female athletes
Accenture is the inaugural foundation sponsor for the Minerva Network, a leading support network established to help Australia’s women in sport identify and navigate commercial challenges.
Senior female executives from Accenture join other leading Australian businesswomen who act as mentors to support elite female athletes to further develop leadership skills, communication techniques, career pathways and general business acumen. Through personal development and upskilling, the Minerva Network is committed to developing future leaders in our communities and for the nation.
Giving back to our communities
Our people currently support over 150 charities and community causes, many that are aligned to our inclusion and diversity networks, to enable people to make a difference to causes that really matter to them.
All Accenture people are provided one day of paid volunteering leave, so they can give back to the causes closest to their hearts.
