Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the entire application lifecycle. You engage in continuous testing activities, ensuring security, application programming interface, and regression tests are effectively executed. Your role includes developing automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively participating in code reviews. You also monitor and report defects, contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing process, thereby supporting the delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the development lifecycle.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of continuous testing methodologies including security, API, and regression testing.
- Experience in creating and maintaining automation strategies and automated test scripts.
- Familiarity with environment and data configuration to support testing activities.
- Ability to participate effectively in code reviews and defect management processes.
- Understanding of end-to-end testing processes and continuous improvement techniques.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
