We leverage digital technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, analytics, and cloud, in combination with a fundamental redesign of the scientific user experience to help our clients better capture, manage, integrate, and analyze complex scientific data. We help improve the discovery and manufacturing of new products, improve quality, ensure compliance, reduce time to market and improve operational efficiency. What would you do?
Play a wide variety of roles related to delivery and sales, shaping digital laboratory solutions for clients and maintaining and growing industry as their center of gravity. Analyze and design new business processes. Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases. Serve as a liaison to the business community and participate in user and task analysis to maintain the business community 's perspective. Improve organization performance and achieve program goals by developing and executing end-to-end project activities. Calculate and crisply articulate the business vale generated by solutions. Demonstrate creativity and flexibility when creating and driving project plans and estimates, scope and requirements from implementation to deployment. Proactively manage and report on execution of deliverables. Master communicators across multiple stakeholders aligning priorities and direction.
- Shape client’s digital transformation vision, focus areas, and journey from the current state to a “to-be” enterprise environment.
- Provide point-of-view on digital lab solutions to deliver transformational goals along with strengths and weaknesses of various planning solutions.
- Collaborate with senior client leaders to ensure buy-in to recommended solutions.
- Serve as the planner/architect for a delivery initiative and oversee the design and implementation of digital lab solutions, processes, and operating model by leveraging Accenture’s implementation methodology.
- Actively manage risks to client engagements, practice performance, and brand/reputation
- Proactively coach project resources to increase their knowledge and effectiveness
- Help develop Scientific Informatics consulting portfolio through thought leadership and opportunity identification.
- Manage business development opportunities to bring innovative solutions and ways of working to clients.
- Build and apply technical, industry, organization, and functional knowledge to support efforts in selling opportunities to existing and new clients.
Qualifications
Here's What You Need:
- 4+ Years of experience working in the field of scientific and laboratory informatics, within R&D and/or QC Manufacturing spaces
- Experience with LIMS (LabVantage, LabWare etc) configuration and development, and one of the following Lab Informatics systems: ELN (Benchling, IDBS etc) or QMS (Veeva Vault)
- Bachelor’s degree in laboratory science / Life Science (e.g., Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Microbiology) or Computer Science or Engineering (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering)
- Travel – varies based on client engagements
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Prior experience working for a Consulting Firm or Scientific/Laboratory Informatics firm
- Prior experience with Application Life Cycle Management
