THE WORK:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into scalable solutions within Marketing Cloud Engagement (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

  • Design, configure, and develop solutions using key MCE modules (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio)

  • Develop and maintain integrations between MCE and external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, data extensions)

  • Write and optimize SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS to support complex marketing automation use cases

  • Monitor platform performance, ensure system stability, and maintain data quality standards

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing ongoing support to clients and internal teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to solution design and architectural decisions

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) in complex, enterprise-scale environments

  • Salesforce certifications (must-have), such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant

  • Proven expertise in core MCE modules: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder, including advanced use cases

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), with the ability to build scalable and maintainable solutions

  • Solid experience in integrating SFMC with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs

  • Deep understanding of data modeling, segmentation strategies, and data management best practices within MCE

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across the platform

  • Ability to work directly with clients, lead technical discussions, and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions

  • Familiarity with Data 360, Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio), and/or Marketing Cloud Next
