Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead and coordinate the Procurement Plus Facilities & Services category on a regional level:
Accountable for regional target setting in alignment with global strategy, market conditions, P+ goals and category objectives
Accountable to communicate, execute and implement global category initiatives on a regional level
Accountable to coordinate and oversee local sourcing/procurement activities in countries in the ASGR & ICEG regions
Accountable for regional category strategy definition, project execution and stakeholder alignment
Functional and managerial responsibility for Category Management resources allocated to the region
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Procurement Plus Workplace category on a regional level:
Manage direct reports including target setting, performance, training and career development
Foster knowledge sharing between global/regional/local P+ and Workplace category resources
Support the Global Category Leads with the identification of stakeholders and definition of the strategy
Benchmark current category practices with regional developments to identify initiatives for improvement
Assess impact of regionally changing requirements, including legislation and policies
Encourage team spirit through category community management
Ensure successful implementation of global strategy / agreements on a regional level:
Coordinate resource allocation to support global initiatives on a regional and local level
Lead and support regional and global category strategy development and implementation
Support regional/local negotiations and sourcing activities in line with global category strategy
Support business profitability (incl. sales) related to Facilities & Service across the regional Accenture organization
Promote the use of contracts and buying channels according to category strategies
Manage supplier and customer relationships on a regional level:
Manage regional supplier relationships in line with Global Category and 360 Value Mgmt. strategy
Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders
Manage internal customer feedback on category organization & supplier performance
Consolidate requirements and act as business partner across GUs, Functions and (Sub-)Categories
Proactively organize sessions with internal customers to identify value contribution opportunities
Generate value driven pipeline of projects/initiatives based on market analysis and stakeholder demand
Ensure that input from stakeholders is considered in the category strategy and sourcing processes
Act as an escalation point for category related issues and drive resolution in line with global targets
Perform category management activities for projects on a regional level:
Manage the category strategy implementation/execution for regional projects and initiatives
Drive supplier performance by, for example, discussing lessons learned across different markets
Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations in alignment with Global Category Leads
Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation
Drive deep Facilities & Services market intelligence into all aspects of the value proposition
Develop deep expertise in a Facilities & Services subcategory that can be leveraged globally
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Expert in category management, sourcing as well as project management and planning
Excellent knowledge of procurement and category strategy development and conveyance
Proven knowledge in sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts
Proven knowledge of the Facilities & Services industry and commercial models
Real estate, facilities or construction procurement experience
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze specifications and influence demand
Very strong in stakeholder and relationship management as well as supplier management
Strong capability to independently interact throughout the broader Accenture organization
Strong analytical, presentation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong knowledge of procurement tools content and data analysis
Project and process management knowledge and experience
Forward, out of the box thinking and an innovative, disruptive and open mindset
Action oriented and solution minded team player with high degree of self-management
Ability to manage multiple projects, adopt a flexible approach and prioritize tasks appropriately
Comfortable navigating in a multicultural environment
Some experience working in similar or adequate roles in procurement environment, with international project and people management elements
Experience working with senior executives to implement and manage initiatives in a highly complex matrix organization
