For our newly formed Cloud First Networks business unit of we are looking for new talent to complement our team. Our existing 8,000+ team of strong Network Professionals combine deep business insight and technology supporting CSPs (Communication Service Providers); Technology and Hyperscale clients to deploy, transform; scale and operate their networks. There is no one player who can bring together the scale and the e2e capabilities that we can. As a Telco OSS Advisory consultant, you will/you will bring: 

  • Proven stakeholder management skills/experience with Network / OSS stakeholders (e.g., Head of Department, Product owners) 

  • An understanding of Telco Network, OSS architecture and OSS domains i.e., service creation, service orchestration & service management and ITIL  

  • Understanding and experience of industry challenges and best practices for architecting and implementing OSS solutions 

  • Knowledge and experience of use cases and best practices to be implemented with OSS solutions e.g., for Service fulfilment or Service assurance  

  • Define, create and execute client workshops/interviews to facilitate detailed understanding of problems and potential solutions 

  • Analyse client requirements e.g., existing as-is OSS architecture to identify opportunities for improvement  

  • Assist teams in all technical aspects to scope and define client solutions during business development or pre-sales activities 

  • Support sizing and dimensioning of solutions 



Qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following skills: 

 

  • Experience working with, or for Telecommunications (fixed or mobile) or Cable operators 

  • Hands-on experience in Operational Support Systems (OSS) architecture, design, solution consulting or implementation of e.g., service orchestration or fibre deployment   

  • E2E understanding of Telecom network technologies (fixed and mobile), standards, OSS interfaces, tools and processes  

  • Understanding of Access, Core, Transport network architecture 

  • Network/service Assurance & ITIL Processes e.g. Event, Incident, Problem, Preventive Maintenance, Configuration, etc.) 

  • Tools and data models that support processes with a focus on network optimization and operations (Network Fault Management, Network Performance Management, Service Quality Management, Customer Experience Management, Network Planning, Inventory) 

  • OSS Architecture (e.g. Service Assurance, Service Management, Fulfilment, Network Assurance, Network Inventory and Resource Management) 

  • Cloud architecture and related services used to support OSS capabilities 

  • Standards and frameworks (3GPP, 5G, LTE, ETSI, 5GAA, 5GMF, ITU, ITIL, TMF) 

  • Understanding of Telco NW technologies including O-RAN, SON architectures 

  • Devops processes and tools 

  • Knowledge of network devices (hardware and vendors) and related solutions, network device configuration parameters, network optimization process and related KPIs, network design, network modelling, change processes, assets and configuration management processes (standards and frameworks) 

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Telecommunication Engineering, or other technical studies 

  • Experience in Telco network OSS solution implementation
