The individual will join a highly skilled team of engineers and will either help manage and run highly-complex cloud platforms or will help mobilise , build and deliver new cloud infrastructure projects for our clients.

As a Cloud Operations Engineer you will:
Be responsible for helping to design, build and operate highly complex cloud infrastructure for our clients
Work as part of a globally dispersed team of cloud experts
Using and deploying groundbreaking cloud technology to help solve our client’s challenges
Expected to have a flexible working attitude and be available to work on call rotations
Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Experience with the following AWS technologies:
Infrastructure as code such as CloudFormation, CDK & Terraform
AWS Core Services: S3, EC2, RDS, Athena, Glue, Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch
Hands-on experience deploying, configuring and managing cloud architecture and technologies in AWS environments
A strong understanding of how to deploy and configure AWS components to adhere to tight security requirements
Experience with web application services such as Apache, Varnish, JBoss, NGinx
SQL and NOSQL Databases architecture, setup and troubleshooting as well as indexing, partitioning and performance tuning
Familiar with (or ability to learn easily) the following languages: Python, PHP, Node.JS + familiarity with bash scripting
Appreciation of industry best practices around security
Ability to troubleshoot and recover complex cloud infra and application issues
Set yourself apart:
Ability to learn and adapt to rapidly changing situations
Mastery of Amazon Web Services
Proven history and track record in technical delivery/operations
