You’ll join a network of M&A professionals across Europe, Asia and North America. Our people are entrepreneurs and explorers who provide dedicated support from M&A strategy, target screening and due diligence, to transaction management, merger & synergy planning, as well as carve-outs and divestitures.

In our team you will learn:
Use considerable judgment to solve complex, ambiguous client business problems, bringing structure and rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques
Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, and use analysis to address our clients’ business challenges and deliver lasting and distinctive outcomes and value
Develop knowledge of prevailing trends, financials, and operating drivers across multiple industries/segments
Build and sustain trusted senior client relationships in the C-suite by remaining highly attuned to client needs and styles.
Be part of high performing multidisciplinary Strategy teams and supporting team members and leadership
Contribute to business development activities including opportunity identification/qualification and proposal development/presentation
Support practice/community building efforts such as recruitment, mentoring and contributing to performance management and training
Be part of the M&A UKI leadership team, helping shape the strategy and direction of the practice and Engage with the wider Strategy community
In this role you will:
Lead successful strategy engagements addressing our clients’ business challenges, delivering lasting and distinctive outcomes and value in disciplines including:
Corporate and Business Strategy
Mergers & Acquisitions
Pre-deal assessment/due diligence
Post-deal merger integration planning
Joint ventures or divestiture/carve out strategy and planning
Have every opportunity to demonstrate your creativity and adaptability
Work within multinational teams on client-facing projects or program workstreams, including developing business cases, performing cost optimization, assessing strategic and investment opportunities, or defining digital solutions
Determine appropriate methods for each assignment to deliver solutions in keeping with the agreed strategic direction
Interact with colleagues and clients at all levels on a diverse range of strategic topics
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Strong experience at a top tier or boutique consulting firm, Big 4 or through an ‘in-house’ consulting / business development role (e.g. Group Strategy, Group Corporate Development)
Proven track record in multiple areas of the M&A lifecycle (e.g. commercial/ IT/ operational due diligence, merger integration)
Experience of managing teams for client engagements/workstreams during an M&A engagement
Experience in framing hypothesis and adopting recognized Strategy frameworks and techniques to complex problems
Experience of leading research, quantitative analysis, structured problem solving and executive communication
Experience of building relationships at different levels and functions across an organisation
Experience in leading business development initiatives ( including proposals, thought leadership)
Demonstrated ability to work in multi-cultural teams in complex strategy/consulting engagements, delivering high-quality output in short timeframes
Strong programme management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

An appreciation of how technology and digital can contribute to solving clients’ business problems
Comfort with the quantitative skills required to develop financial/operational models and supervise data analysis
Leadership and the ability to quickly build effective teams, establish trust-based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication with a results driven attitude
Experience in financial modelling and demonstrated understanding of financial statements
Proven presentation skills to lead meetings, presentations and workshops. Confidence to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
Exposure and/or involvement in sales origination and commercial management, coupled with an entrepreneurial mind-set
