This role will work within the Spark44 team
Following a new client win, we’re looking for a midweight digital/social copywriter to join our team. Working alongside our other writers and directly into our Brand Response team Creative Director, you’ll be responsible for creating integrated social and digital campaigns, largely for our new global hotel chain client.
As such, you’ll need to know the social world – particularly Facebook – inside out, know your organic posts from your link ads and the character counts on every format backwards. You’ll also be able to craft copy that stops people scrolling, in both static and film, and gets them to click or tap before they’ve even realised they’re doing it. Plus you’ll love travel and be happy to do a little digging into what makes our hotel destinations special. Being able to come up with big social ideas would be a big plus too. As would speaking another European language (although this is by no means essential.)
Needless to say, you’ll be able to do all that quickly and get it right first time, plus you’ll need to be happy working with our team across Europe – and remain supremely unflappable if things change at the last minute (Spoiler alert: they do and will.)
