Marketing + Communications (M+C) professionals build a powerful and differentiated global brand—at the corporate, industry, capability, and geographic level—that supports the Accenture business strategy, enhances long-term client relationships, inspires employees and candidates, and drives profitable growth.

The UK&I Campaigns Team brings together business needs, global content, and local angles to create a portfolio of campaign content and activity to drive marketing activities throughout the year.  For activities pushed directly at specific clients (events, content mailers) we work closely with Industry Marketers and the Account Based Marketing team (ABM), who cover the “last mile” to the client. The other side of our work focuses on things clients can “pull” for themselves, working heavily on content-driven social campaigns with a heavy emphasis on LinkedIn.  We strive for truly integrated marketing campaigns with a variety of innovative content and tactics to help clients understand the unique value Accenture can help them create. 

Role description

The Campaigns Senior Analyst is one of three working in a flexible, agency-style team across all of our campaigns. Other team members include its lead, campaign managers and a collection of trusted agency partners. This official team coordinates resources from across Accenture M+C, so you’ll be regularly working across the larger group with colleagues in advertising, social media, design, etc.

Under the direction of an Account Manager, you will work to support a variety of campaigns. Each campaign and each task within it may be different, but the tasks you’ll be most likely to be assigned include:

  • Project management: Laying out the steps necessary to complete an activity, the roles, and responsibilities, and managing the project plan to meet deadlines.
  • Developing marketing collateral: This may include things like LinkedIn articles, PowerPoint presentations, web pages, short videos, or podcasts. On smaller projects you may develop content on your own, with coaching. On larger projects you will be a production assistant working with (and learning from) others.
  • Audience acquisition: A critical part of events, you’ll work with other marketers to determine our audience acquisition strategy, ensure that their details are up to date in our CRM system, run the invitation process, send reminders, etc.
  • Event management: We traditionally run a variety of physical, virtual and hybrid events from intimate executive roundtables to sponsorship of large industry events. You’ll play an important role in making these happen.
  • Reporting: A marketing team is only as good as the results it delivers. You’ll help track results and package them in various reports across the business.

All of our Senior Analysts share the responsibilities above, moving between projects and account managers when they complete projects.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Hands-on marketing experience, ideally in professional services or other B2B organisation. Marketing communications experience highly desirable.
  • Broad marketing skill set, including campaign management, deliverable development and measurement and reporting. Demonstrable experience in using different channels, including social media, email, and direct mail.
  • Brilliant project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present and convey ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to operate and build relationships at senior levels within a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity, flair, and innovation in how to achieve cut-through and differentiation for campaigns.
  • Enthusiasm, passion for marketing and can-do attitude.

Technical skills

  • Strong writing skills are essential.
  • Comfort with social media platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • A basic understanding of the principles of design (some digital design skills would be a bonus).
  • Experience using corporate CRM systems would be useful, but not essential as long as you can show an ability to learn quickly.
