Marketing & Communications
 
Our global Marketing & Communications team builds Accenture’s brand, protects its reputation, generates awareness of the company’s capabilities and services, and plays an integral role in supporting sales growth. Our teams are involved in a range of activities from advertising, media relations, PR, sponsorships, social media, internal communications to brand management and thought leadership initiatives.
 
Executive Communications
 
The Executive Communications team is an integral part of the UK and Ireland Marketing & Communication function.  The team operates at the intersection of content, leadership and partnership platforms.   Working with some of our most senior UK executives, the team helps to position them personally and digitally, on key topics with high level client audiences.
 
Job Summary
 
The Executive Communications role is responsible for supporting the day to day relationship management with key third party organisations to help deliver marketing programmes to drive our corporate reputation in the UK.  Key third party relationships include the CBI, Critical Eye, Management Today, Tech UK and BITC.  
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and collaboration skills across Marketing & Communications (M&C) and third party organisations
    • Support in the delivery of marketing programmes in line with local business priorities working with the wider global M&C strategy
    • Help to drive compelling and effective programmes to raise Accenture’s positioning in the UK market
    • Event planning, execution (and attendance when necessary) for both internal and external activities of varying size 
    • Helping to write and produce high quality external and internal communications for on and offline channels
    • Build a strong network with Client Service Group marketing leads to share opportunities and ensure maximum participation and uptake
    • Working closely with agencies and suppliers 
    • Monthly budget planning and reconciliation   
    • Reporting and evaluation of sponsorships, campaigns and activation 
    • Market research on competitor activity and new opportunities

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
     
      • Experience in a hands-on marketing role, delivering programmes and development marketing assets 
      • Great team player, enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in and learn 
      • Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience tracking, reporting and creating status updates 
      • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to tailor based on audience 
      • Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills 
      • Creative thinker who is willing to bring fresh ideas to the team 
      • Ability to deliver well-executed, high quality deliverables and juggle multiple projects simultaneously 
      • Good knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel

    Reports to:  UK Sponsorship Marketing Lead 
     
    Supervises:  None
     
    External Relationships:  Third party organisations, suppliers, agencies
     
    Qualifications 
     
    Education:  Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent 
     
    Work Experience:  Experience in marketing and/or marketing communications
     
    Work Requirements:  Minimal travel depending on geographical span
