Role: Salesforce Consulting Manager (Retail Industry) – Products Technology Consulting

Location: London

Salary range: £71,000 – 85,000

Travel: Up to 100%

Our Products Technology Consulting practice provides advisory and delivery expertise to major Life Science, Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Automotive firms in order to help our clients pivot to the new by injecting new technologies, new methodologies and new ways to deliver innovation to the business.

As a Salesforce Consulting Manager you’ll often be required to;

  • Work with the C-suite at our clients orchestrating strategies to best leverage cutting edge new IT for greatest strategic impact/ competitive advantage.
  • Provide functional and high-level technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform and services offered.
  • Use your knowledge of the Consumer Goods and/or Retail industry to create unique solutions for our CG/Retail clients.
  • Help our clients understand how to best leverage Salesforce and related technologies through the creation of blueprints, roadmaps and governance structures.
  • Focus on problem solving and high paced value creation for our clients; using the Salesforce platform to deliver business value and support future growth through ‘new’ digital, cloud, and next generation technologies.
  • Undertaking sales origination, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.
  • Providing Program and Project Services focusing on ‘new IT’ methods and tools (e.g. Agile/ Scrum, DevOps, Design Thinking) in combination with Accenture’s proprietary Salesforce implementation methodology.
  • Expert knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS) and Salesforce.com to advise clients on solutions
  • As a team player, you’ll work within a multidisciplinary team combining industry and technical experts to create unique solutions for our CG/Retail clients.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

 

Management & advisory experience in the context of complex, IT-enabled transformation programmes, which should include tangible examples in several of the following areas:

  • Proven ability to shape and lead IT transformation through provision of strategy, consulting, digital and technology and operations services in collaboration with our partners within and outside of Accenture.
  • Previous experience and strong understanding of the Consumer Goods and/or Retail industry is essential.
  • Previous experienced developing/delivering solutions based on Salesforce platform in a consulting environment
  • passion and commitment to Salesforce platform and ISVs and a drive to build vendor relationships and influence the way these are taken to market, including via the development of industry specific solutions
  • Experience of working with IT leadership teams in shaping a value-based client offerings and solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at senior IT and business levels
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing (SaaS, PaaS) and Salesforce.com
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Onshore, client-facing experience
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

You must be willing to be London, Manchester or Edinburgh-based, but be fully mobile, i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required
