Role: HR People Advisor Specialist
Location: London
Salary up to £44,000 depending on skills and experience

The Digital HR People Advisor serves as a primary connection between Human Resources, business leaders and the employees, providing high quality coaching and advisory services across various Digital teams.
The role will closely partner with UKI Digital leadership team to implement an effective HR service to add value to this fast growing and exciting business area. 
 
General HR
 
  • Collaborate with other HR People Advisors to share knowledge and best practice
  • Advise and guide business leads on a range of issues including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters, flexible working arrangements, benefits and reward.
  • Drive the implementation of people programs and initiatives
  • Process change requests e.g. change in hours, transfers, resignations etc.
  • Monitor attrition, analyse trends and recommend actions.
  • Work with the recruitment team in order to co-ordinate the effective integration of new joiners
  • Address management requests for analysis on key performance indicators relating to people issues (e.g. retention, illness hours etc.).
  • Assess skill gaps with leadership, execute plans for skill development areas

·         Have an understanding of business conditions and work with counterparts in the Talent Supply Chain team to exchange information and work on any joint initiatives as needed.

 

Performance and Professional Development

 
  • Promote performance achievement throughout Digital, support and facilitate the annual review process, compensation and salary administration.
  • Coach career counselors and supervisors on the career development of all personnel by providing guidance on career plans, coaching, and advising/approving required and elective training appropriate for their development.
  • Manage on-going performance feedback processes by providing regular guidance and training on delivering and receiving feedback, contributing to and reviewing formal input, and supporting the implementation of performance improvement plans as appropriate.
  • Employee Relations and Transitions

     
    • Advise on employee relations issues and assist as needed to resolve personnel issues.
    • Educate and advise leadership on HR policy, to ensure compliance.
    • Manage the termination process by coordinating discussions, ensuring appropriate documentation and elevating and/or addressing any resulting issues.
    • Participate in any centrally run exit programmes and manage, coordinate and communicate as necessary for your groups.
    • Manage all personnel changes from initial request through approval and implementation (location transfers, entity transfers, workforce transfers, other personnel transactions).
What skills & experience are we looking for?   
    • Must have strong work ethic, enthusiasm, energy and passion for HR Service Delivery
    • Deep human resources generalist experience
    • Natural ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – being able to influence others is an advantage, as is having good attention to detail.
    • Human Resources degree, or similar is preferred
