Deal Execution & Innovation Associate Manager

(Application Services Sales Support)

Salary - Up to £50,000 depending on level of experience plus excellent benefits package

Role description: 

Responsible for bid management on key sales opportunities

Managing the end to end production of the bid response document

Authoring sections of the bid response document by writing new content

Contributing to scoping & solutioning where needed; to contribute to overall creation and completion of the bid response document 

Co-ordinating and aligning bid team activities on behalf of the Sales Lead

Co-ordinating the necessary internal approvals for the bid

Providing a key point of contact with the client team

Participate in client presentations when required

Gradually become accountable for driving different types of sales in the Application Services arena on existing assigned accounts and improve sales efficiency & effectiveness by meeting & exceeding Application Services sales & revenue targets.

Originate and close net new sales, it may also be required to assist with renewals or extensions

 

Key areas of responsibilities: 

Proposal Management

Manage the end to end production of the bid document: ITT, RFI, RFP etc.

Capturing, communicating and tracking key outputs and actions from planning and strategy sessions. 

Schedule and plan internal and client milestones Identify dependencies in the timeline and escalate issues impacting the deadline

Prepare, review, secure sign-off and submit materials

Authoring sections of the bid response document by writing new content

Scoping & solutioning where need be to contribute to overall creation and completion of the bid response document 

Provide day-to-day point of contact for both the client team and the bid team

Manage the business development budget

Provides PMO support including all deal communications and meetings. 

 

Sales

Accountable for driving different types of sales in the Application Services arena on existing assigned accounts and improve sales efficiency & effectiveness by meeting & exceeding Application Services sales & revenue targets.

Show capability to work with the Client Account Lead and Sales Lead to identify profitable sales objectives for the account

Work as part of the Leadership team under the sponsorship of the Client Account Lead and reporting to the Sales Lead and work collaboratively with the Technology Services Lead

Play a proactive role in collaborating with the Client Account Lead in account planning including defining an account strategy, Year-on-Year sales growth expectations for Application Services work, and taking a proactive role in driving net new origination throughout the year

Originate and close net new sales, it may also be required to assist with renewals or extensions

 

 

Person profile:

Extensive experience in Sales Enablement for Application services

Experience in delivering Application Services projects (implementation, support preferably of ERP projects)

Some experience in corporate strategy/finance

Effective project management, organizational skills, and effective time management

Client relationship management and client acumen

Solid understanding of new/Digital Technology and its impact on business and applications

Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers

Proposal/RFP creation and leading RFP/proposal presentations

Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Strong internal stakeholder management skills

Seeking and motivated for a career in sales

Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Additional MBA (or equivalent) degree preferred

If relocation is required in applying to this position, the appointment to the role would be considered an employee driven transfer meaning that the employee will be personally responsible for covering all relocation costs and any costs associated with dependents.
