What responsibilities will you have?
As an experienced Java Developer, you’ll be responsible for leading development teams who design cutting edge technical solutions for a major Financial Services client based in the North West.
You’ll be responsible for the technical/functional impact and effort assessment on the requirements raised by the project. You’ll support queries that might be raised during delivery and provide appropriate responses and will speak to multiple dependent teams/ stakeholders to arrive at the most appropriate design, details regarding risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies. You’ll submit the completed work requests for product sign-off, attend/lead daily Scrums related to project and feature deliveries and provide technical/functional assistance in resolving any implementation issues related to BMB deliverables. In addition, you’ll examine existing systems/processes in place and recommend new/modified solutions in light of the business need.
Also, as part of your responsibility you would be accountable for: -
· Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
· Delivering high availability and performance
· Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
· Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
· Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
· Managing Java and Java EE application development
· Ensuring designs comply with specifications
· Preparing and producing releases of software components
· Transforming requirements into stipulations
· Support continuous improvement
· Investigating alternatives and technologies
· Presenting for architectural review
