You will be joining the Accenture UK/I Test Practice which supports multiple industries and a broad range of services from strategic test consulting advice through to test delivery across all test disciplines.  Test and Quality Assurance are some of the highest growth areas within the IT service market, and are critical capabilities for delivering business change to support our clients.  Our Test Practice is at the forefront of driving new IT delivery methods such as agile and dev ops, and collaborates with many advanced technology vendors to utilise the latest tooling, AI and automation capabilities.
You would be joining a high performing team and play a pivotal role in the continued success of our testing services.  You will work with test professional who passionate for testing leveraging new technologies to ensure testing is faster, more efficient while ensuring coverage and quality.  The sheer variety of work we do, and the experience it offers, provide an unbeatable platform from which to build a career.
What responsibilities will you have?
Typical responsibilities may include, but will not be limited to:
  • Provide test programme management services that meet agreed SLAs
  • Test Strategy and Approach definition
  • Align with client on approach and acceptance criteria including any distributed work requirements
  • Lead and manage high performance distributed teams
  • Assess 3rd party suppliers of test technology, infrastructure or expertise
  • Provide Automation and Tooling Strategy advisory work or automation delivery advisory
  • Lead workshops and provide test consulting work to clients
  • Perform key role in account development and test platform growth
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Deep industry experience delivered via New IT test (DevOps, Agile, Automation). 
  • Strong test delivery skill with robust stakeholder management, communication and delivery skills.
  • Track record of defining multiple Test Strategies, including planning of test approach, isolation techniques, stubs/mocking requirements, test data management and environments.
  • Test management experience at client sites
    • Examples: Onshore, Nearshore and Offshore teams
    • Examples: Distributed agile test management
    • Examples: Integration to DevOps practices
  • Experience operating as consulting/transformation agent for change within a testing context or have led in test delivery transformation services roles
  • Experience leading test services/delivery in challenging stakeholder-facing roles in Financial Services (Retail Banking, Capital Markets or Investment Banking) and Utilities industry but other industries such as Retail, Communications, Media, Technology, Public Services and Digital will also be considered.  
  • Excellent Communication, stakeholder management and written English skills
  • Working knowledge of one or more source configuration management and defect tracking systems
  • Confident manner in giving presentations and workshops to clients
  • Project Management
  • Ability to coach less experienced staff
  • Interest in wider testing techniques
What academic qualifications do you need?
  • ISTQB Qualified (or clearly demonstrate equivalent experience)
