Salary: £17,600 - £20,460 - depending on experience

What responsibilities will you have?
  • Process members’ benefits based on their entitlements under the rules of the pension scheme and/or clients’ leaving procedures
  • Communicate member’s entitlements to the member/client both verbally and in writing and to resolve member’s queries
  • Maintain systems to ensure accuracy of information and the corresponding correct benefit entitlements
  • To document work processes and provide assistance to the other members of the Pension Centre
  • To provide and assist with “on-job” training to the Team, as required
  • To assist with one-off projects
  • To advise and liaise with external organisation/clients on scheme member benefit entitlements
  • Specific additional roles dependent upon the team on which they are working
  • Generic re Data Protection/Health and Safety/QMS
 
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Pensions related qualification: PMI / CPC / APE / DPC and or equivalent is a must have
  • Experience in other software products, e.g. PMS6000 and PeopleSoft
  • Scheme rules and practices
  • Pensions and related employer legislation
  • Service Level Agreements between the Centre and the Client
  • General office procedures
  • Inland Revenue rules and regulations
  • Customer Service objectives
  • Interpersonal, Communication (oral and written) and Organisational skills
  • Have a working knowledge of:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Other pre-requisite skills, including numeracy, literacy, keyboard and communication
 
What academic qualifications do you need?
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Pensions related qualification: PMI / CPC / APE / DPC and or equivalent
