Location: London / Manchester / Edinburgh
Travel: Up to 100%
Salary: £65,000 - £120,000

The Role
 
Accenture is looking to further strengthen its specialist Finance & Risk practice and continues to see high demand for is differentiated offerings in an evolving industry landscape. A core driver to this demand is Compliance Transformation. Today, many Compliance functions are stepping into the role of strategic advisor to the business, but are seemingly constrained by the weight of new regulations and management of day-to-day operations resulting from an ever more complex ecosystem.
 
As part of Accenture’s Finance & Risk practice, our Compliance Transformation specialists help Compliance clients to:
 
  • Advise the business on its digital journey, and develop compliance risk control frameworks that can meet the needs of evolving markets and customers
  • Deliver Compliance organisational change, through operating models that support effective collaboration across the first and second lines of defence, including Risk, HR, and IT
  • Optimise ways of working in Compliance, through robotics, cognitive engines, and distributed systems that free up and support resources to conduct advisory and control
  • Improve Compliance intelligence, surveillance, and reporting, by applying advanced analytics, visualisation tools, and cloud technologies that help turn data into insight
  • Drive Cultural Change and ethical monitoring across the organisation, by developing, socialising, measuring and tracking behavioural standards in line with the institution’s mission
What We Are Looking for
Accenture’s Finance & Risk Compliance Transformation positions will be filled by dynamic individuals seeking a career in client-facing, high performance consulting.  Specific qualifications and expertise must include:
 
  • Compliance Function Expertise, in areas such as Compliance Advisory, Central/Employee Compliance, Conduct Risk & Culture Change, Regulatory Relations, Reporting, Remediation, Surveillance, or Technology
  • Financial Services: Strong understanding of the key trends impacting the industry, and an appetite to innovate and deliver impact, underpinned by 3-10 years’ experience, depending on level, in Capital Markets, Banking or Insurance
  • Change Delivery: Track-record in delivering organisational change, impacting people, process or technology, as well as proven project management, stakeholder management, and communications skills
  • Degree: Min 2:1 equivalent from an accredited college/university
  • External Qualifications (desirable): CISI, ICA, or specialist postgraduate qualification

  • Accenture Finance & Risk Services help Financial Services firms focus on three of their key challenges - increasing profitability, reducing complexity and managing regulations. Accenture draws on its end-to-end transformation capabilities as well as core strengths in management consulting, technology, analytics and outsourcing to help firms address complex Risk Management, Fraud and Financial Crime and Finance change related issues.
  • We primarily work with leading Investment, Corporate and Retail Banks and Insurers. Accenture is looking for candidates that have an excellent knowledge of how banks and Insurers operate their Risk Management, Fraud and Financial Crime and Finance functions and the current challenges they face.
