Join Accenture and help transform leading organisations and communities around the world. The sheer scale of our capabilities and client engagements and the way we collaborate, operate and deliver value provides an unparalleled opportunity to grow and advance.
The digital revolution is changing everything.  It’s everywhere – transforming how we work and play.  Are you reacting to the disruption each day or are you leading the way as a digital disrupter? Accenture Digital is driving these exciting changes and bringing them to life across 40 industries in more than 120 countries.  At the forefront of digital, you’ll create it, own it and make it a reality for clients looking to better serve their connected customers and operate always-on enterprises.  Join us and become an integral part of our experienced digital team with the credibility, expertise and insight clients depend on.
A recent acquisition of Accenture after 13 years of delivering award-winning service design magic, Fjord has evolved to represent a stretch for the Design community - simultaneously shifting the world’s largest consultancy towards customer centricity, whilst being supported by the scale and reach of same business.
As a result, we believe that not just Fjord but Design practice globally is starting to reveal itself in the most powerful of places - the boardrooms of some of the biggest organisations in the world, with access to creating an impact on the lives of millions of people.
There’s a lot of work to do. So we're growing our design team here at the Fjord London studio.
And to build it we're looking for the keystones; we’re looking for the brightest service design leaders of our time to define and deliver some of the most challenging design creativity to some of the most critical infrastructure that drives our complex world - a world of simultaneously logical data and irrational humanity
Our clients are more diverse than ever. Our projects more varied than ever - in scope, type, and levels from the C-suite. Our design team is thriving like never before because they are learning to address new challenges that every project brings.
If you think the word 'digital' means everything, and nothing, simultaneously, we'd love to hear from you.
At Fjord, content design is an integral part of our design process. The creative thinkers and systematic doers on our Content Design team apply design thinking methods to strategically understand how content will be used, from service design to digital product creation. As the Head of Content Design, you’ll own the practice at the studio level. You’ll be responsible for the Content Design team across all client engagements. You’ll also establish processes, estimate level of effort, and liaise with Content Design Leads throughout region to facilitate knowledge sharing.
What responsibilities will you have?
  • Manage the studio's Content Design team across all accounts as well as managing the content design relationships with partners and clients.
  • Assume responsibility for the overall quality of the Content Design team's work across the studio.
  • Oversee Content Design approaches and deliverables across the London studio
  • Estimate scope as well as level of effort for content design resourcing
  • Define how design teams use content design documentation across internal and client-facing work
  • Liaise with Design Leads within studio and throughout Fjord to establish best practices, evolve processes and ensure continuity across all documentation.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Significant digital design experience; content strategy experience and manager responsibilities
  • Firm understanding of human-centered design and service design approaches; advance the integration of content design with these practices
  • Working knowledge of the content landscape, including but not limited to content creation, content strategy, content marketing, content management and content operations
  • Experience of planning and managing content initiatives from start to finish
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and partners in any situation or context
  • Proven creative problem solving skills to help establish an editorial style for a given project, evaluate a creative approach, brainstorm, think and respond quickly while delivering unexpected, original and innovative ideas
  • Proven ability to maintain attention to detail across project deliverables and management of version control
  • Expert understanding of the production process (asset creation, specification creation, and handoff to development).
  • Expert understanding of technical and cross-platform implications (strengths and limitations of individual native, hybrid and HTML platforms)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, JIRA a plus
  • Prior experience using agile methodology
  • Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills
  • History of tackling and solving complex interactive challenges
