Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working with modern frameworks and following agile methodologies to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing software that meets unique business requirements. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is an integral part of the daily routine to align development efforts with project goals and timelines, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, Java Enterprise Edition.
- Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
