Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications are both functional and efficient, while continuously refining and adapting the software to meet evolving demands. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential throughout the development lifecycle to deliver reliable and effective software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document application designs and configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kinaxis.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and application configuration.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting techniques to resolve application issues.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Kinaxis.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
