Project Role Description : Use quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to transform testing products and solutions. Run end-to-end quality engineering function with a focus on automation to improve control, accuracy and integrity.

Good to have skills : Agile Testing, Performance Testing Strategy, System Integration Testing (SIT)

Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and utilizing automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on managing the entire quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to elevate control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous engagement with testing frameworks and collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize testing processes.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test scripts to ensure robustness and reliability.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and support their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Automated Testing.
- Experience with scripting and programming languages commonly used in test automation.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools to design, develop, and execute automated test cases.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in test case design and execution.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automated Testing.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
