Manager - Python Development

Experience: 12+ years of experience is required Educational Qualification: BTech / BE Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager- Software Engineering (Python Developer) to guide and mentor our dynamic development team. In this role, you will drive the creation of high-quality tech products designed to make the learning journey exciting for global learners. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of software engineers to develop and enhance platform modules. Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices. Conduct and oversee code reviews, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues, ensuring error-free and scalable solutions. Optimize application performance and guide the team on scalability best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of features. Mentor team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Document code, technical specifications, and project requirements. Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications: Master's degree Preferred 12+ years of experience required Prior EdTech experience is required. Proficiency in Python with hands-on experience developing web applications using Django and Flask. Strong experience with API development, RESTful APIs, and large-scale codebases. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery) and databases (MySQL). Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, and basics of Linux and Docker is preferred. Proficiency in additional programming languages like Java or PHP is a plus. Proven ability to lead and manage teams, ensuring project timelines and quality. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong familiarity with Git for version control. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in dynamic environments.
