Experience: • 15+ years in hands‑on, client‑facing technology roles
• 8+ years architecting and leading GCP solution delivery
• 3+ years in formal technical leadership, mentoring teams
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience
Job Summary:
You are a leader who combines deep Google Cloud expertise with strategic engineering leadership, focused on solving real‑world business problems through modern cloud solutions. Equally effective guiding complex solution design and leading high‑performing teams, you translate business needs into scalable technical outcomes.
As a GCP delivery lead, you provide technical and product leadership across consulting and engineering engagements, guiding teams, shaping solutions, and driving adoption of modern engineering practices while delivering complex cloud‑native solutions at scale.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead a practice of Google Cloud engineers, coaching people leaders, building succession, and fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
- Own portfolio governance across concurrent programs, including planning, prioritization, dependency and risk management, and executive reporting.
- Run resource management at scale, covering workforce planning, staffing, utilization, onboarding, and delivery readiness across multiple accounts.
- Provide practice leadership for Google Cloud engineering, defining best practices, mentoring leaders and teams, and driving continuous skills growth.
- Own delivery assurance and quality, establishing standards, playbooks, and modern engineering practices to ensure consistent client outcomes.
- Deliver multi‑project accountability, leading global on‑shore and off‑shore teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Serve as a trusted executive and technical advisor to clients, guiding solution direction and translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions.
- Champion modern engineering and Agile delivery, driving adoption across teams.
- Partner with sales, account teams, and leadership to shape solutions, strengthen win‑to‑deliver handoffs, and scale repeatable Google Cloud offerings and accelerators using deep expertise in these Google Cloud domains:
- Customer 360 (data unification, identity, segmentation, activation, analytics)
- Cloud foundations and modernization (landing zones, networking, security, platform engineering, GKE)
- Contact Center & CES: CCaaS transformation, conversational AI, agent assist, and integrations.
- Data & AI: Data pipelines and analytics using BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker, Vertex AI, Gemini models, and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Security Operations & Cyber Defense: SIEM/SOAR integrations, automated response, and threat intelligence using Google Chronicle, Mandiant, and Security Command Center.
- Marketing Intelligence & Personalization: Predictive segmentation and hyper‑personalized experiences using BigQuery and Vertex AI.
- Application & Infrastructure Modernization: GKE, Apigee, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Workplace & Collaboration: Google Workspace integrations using APIs and Apps Script.
- Offering Management: Roadmaps, GTM alignment, enablement, metrics, and continuous improvement.
Professional & Leadership Skills:
- 15+ years in client-facing technology, consulting, delivery, or practice leadership roles
- 8+ years delivering and/or leading Google Cloud (GCP) programs with measurable business outcomes
- Proven people leadership: performance management, coaching, hiring, and building leadership bench strength
- Strong portfolio/program management across multiple concurrent projects (scope, schedule, budget, risk, resourcing, governance)
- Domain depth in one or more: Customer 360, CCAI/Contact Center, Cloud modernization, Data & AI; plus, strong offering management mindset
