This four-week virtual programme will give you the chance to discover how HR is an integral part of Accenture. You will be placed on a project and in the final week you will present your findings to fellow interns, managers and members of the HR Leadership Team. This is a great chance to immerse yourself in the HR function and get involved in wider actives. You will have the opportunity to meet with members of the HR Leadership Team that will help you understand the various functions of HR.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Work on diverse local and global HR priorities in areas such as Talent Strategy, Talent Supply Chain, Talent Architecture, Talent Analytics, Field HR, and Learning & Talent Development
  • Develop business acumen in addition to foundational and functional HR skills
  • Participate in world class HR learning
  • Work with and learn from talented and inspirational colleagues and leaders
  • Thrive in an inclusive, empowering and aspirational environment

You should be in your penultimate year of university, graduating in the summer of 2022 on track for a 2:1 degree. We are looking for people who are doing an HR-related degree or modules or, have proven interest in HR (i.e. through work experience). You should have the curiosity to learn and eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented and collaborative environment and eager to pursue a future career in HR. Please note that the internship will run for 4 weeks during June to July 2021, so please only apply if you are available for this period.

Rewards & benefits

    Online application

    Applications for most programmes open in the autumn. To apply, you need to complete an online profile. You can only apply to one programme in any six month period but if you are unsuccessful you can apply to other roles.

    Discovery Portal

    If you are suitable for the role, you’ll be invited to our Discovery Portal. This is an interactive experience and takes about an hour, but there’s no time limit. You’ll receive feedback within a few days.

    Assessment Centre

    If you’re successful at the Discovery Portal stage, you’ll be invited to one of our assessment centres where you’ll take part in a variety of activities designed to help us find out what your strengths are.

    Technical Interviews

    For some of our programmes, the final stage will be one or two technical interviews with managers from the specialist area you have applied to work in. We’ll give you lots of advice before your interviews.

    Offer

    Well done! If you’re successful in all the stages we’ll offer you a place on the programme and tell you your start date. If you don’t pass, we’ll give you the opportunity to get feedback.

    Onboarding

    Three months before your start date, we’ll ask you to provide evidence of your academic results and two references. We’ll then send you details of your training week where we’ll welcome you into Accenture!
