Senior IP Network Engineer

Job Description
- Work with enterprise, fixed, and mobile networks worldwide, providing engineering services to our esteemed customers.
- Lead and participate in worldwide projects for the IP network service integration, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, communication links and routing protocols.
- Plan, design, integrate, and develop local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs) and network security (firewalls, IDS, NAC) within multivendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Conduct network audits and assessments of IP networks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions.
- Optimize and tune Network KPIs and QoS parameters across various projects to enhance network performance.
- Lead IP network testing procedures and acceptance tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with customers in a large, international team to deliver end-to-end solutions for the telecommunications network of the future.
- Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, acting as a mentor and fostering a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in IP network engineering, network security, design, operation, and optimization tasks.
- Experience working with service provider technologies such as MPLS/MPLS TP and L2/L3 switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MP-BGP).
- Experience in enterprise networks and network security services (VPN services, IPsec/GRE, NAT/CGNAT, firewall devices, and clusters).
- Familiarity with SDWAN solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Desirable certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or other relevant vendors.
- Knowledge of automation and cloud services is a plus.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
