Together with a team of trusted advisors, you’ll help some of the world’s leading brands and organisations navigate of change. You’ll be part of the action from the moment you start your first project.

 

 

Create a growth strategy. Advise clients on how to outshine competitors. Design policy to help a nation recover from the impacts of a pandemic. As part of our Strategy and Economic Insights team, you’ll help clients solve their most challenging business and policy problems.

Some of the tough questions we've helped clients answer include:

  • How can Australia’s biggest companies embrace technology to achieve growth?
  • How can we help Australians with disabilities get better healthcare access?
  • How should businesses plan for a post-COVID-19 world?

    Big questions require big answers, so you’ll team up with people from different backgrounds and combine your diverse insights to create the best solution. You’ll also learn from some of the industry’s best. Our leaders have years of experience working in different sectors and advising government and business leaders.

    We want to give you all the tools you need to thrive in a new role. This includes a supportive network and training to become a better consultant. You will be assigned a graduate buddy to answer any questions in your early months at the firm, and a career counsellor to guide you as you grow as a consultant and professional.

    You can apply if you’re a university student in your final year or have graduated in the past two years at the time of application. You must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian permanent resident to apply.

    Our program is open to graduates from all backgrounds and disciplines. A background in commerce, economics, policy or technology will be seen as a plus. You also need to be:

    • A creative problem-solver who is comfortable with numbers.
    • A strong communicator (written and verbal) who can easily connect with others.
    • Interested in business, technology, public policy, economics or making a social impact.

    Application 101

    We get a large number of applications so it may take a while to review and respond to yours and let you know the progress or outcome. Our application process is outlined below so you know what to expect at each stage:

    Step 1: Online application

    This is your first opportunity to share your academic and leadership achievements, experience working with teams, and other personal and professional achievements. Tell us about your passions and why you'd like to join us. You will be required to attach your CV and a cover letter.

    Step 2: Online case study

    The case study is a 20-minute online assessment that aims to understand your ability to solve a consulting problem. The assessment is a great example of the type of work you might encounter at Accenture Strategy.

    Step 3: First round interviews

    In our first round of interviews, two experienced consultants will ask you to share more detail of your professional and academic achievement and conduct a case interview.

    Step 4: Final interviews

    Our final round interviews consist of two case study interviews with Accenture leaders. Final round interviews will be in the same format as the first-round interviews.

    Step 5: Offers

    Should you be successful, we will make you an offer and work with you to figure out a start date. Welcome to Accenture.

    We’re here to support you from day one. In your first few weeks, you’ll learn the basics of Strategy and explore the analytical tools we use.

    We know starting a new role can be overwhelming, so you’ll team up with a recent graduate who will help you finetune ideas and find your away around work. Aside from a work buddy, you’ll also have a career coach who will support you as you grow and reach your goals.

    When it comes to training, different learning styles work for different people. That’s why we offer various learning paths you can easily customise. You can also join our connected classrooms and face-to-face sessions with experts. If you’re more of a study-at-my-own-pace kind of student, we’ve got online learning boards that cover hundreds of topics. Plus, our leaders will mentor you and you'll network with global colleagues working on business and policy challenges across Asia Pacific.

    With the help of our world-class training, you’ll have the skills and experience to become a trusted business and government advisor.

    0–6 months
