Zag is part of Accenture - the world's largest technology consulting organisation.
Really good, grunty SAP Project Manager roles are advertised often, but few truly deliver to expectations......this one does!! We're hunting high and low for a true career Project Manager, with certifications supporting their passion and broad experience across ERP Application Development implementations. We have a prefernece for those with SAP experience but broad commercial acument is first and foremost, as is a commitment to be based in Wellington (or to travel there weekly) as the intial project we have you pegged for is Capital-based.
Zag is a leading SAP Consultancy. We design, implement and support SAP solutions for a huge variety of medium-large organisations across NZ and Australia and we're very, very good at what we do. We spend a lot of time recruiting professionals at the top of their careers and this is the core reason our reputation for delivery is so strong. We also make it our core priority to look after our people, and this is why so many of our people stay with us for years and years and years....(seriously!)
We offer a tremendously supportive consulting environment, a role with significant visibility across the organisation and with Customers, and consulting delivery teams who are exceptional. Your role will be to lead from the front, owning the delivery of world-class solutions, often at the forefront of the industry. Zag is renowned for being early adopters of the latest technology advancements and regularly being the first to deliver them in the country.
We are committed to recruiting someone who is used to operating at the senior levels, navigating within quite politically charged environments at times and able to instill confidence in the Customer right from the get-go - never once lifting their foot off the pedal. A track record of successful delivery, against all metrics, is testimony to how you control projects in your care.
We're seeking a 'career Project Manager'- someone who manages projects day in/day out, not merely alongside their architectural consulting - project management is all you do and you've done it for 6+ years. You'll also need to be highly pragmatic, easily flipping between Waterfall and Agile (operating in a true w-agile way when needed!)
Our Delivery Team is critical to our success and our Project Managers lead the charge on all customer implementations and, therefore, being experienced in SAP or, alternatively, large-scale complex Application Development Projects - is essential. Managing SAP implementations takes specialist knowledge of how things need to be done...and being able to lead from the front requires a 'been there/done that' approach.
Given the immediacy of this requirement, we are seeking someone already in NZ, or with existing rights to work here, who can jump on a plane in the next couple of weeks and start working.
