What you would do in this role
- Ability to work with large data sets and present conclusions to key stakeholders.
- Act as a Data Scientist/Engineer for data handling, extraction, manipulation; creating structured form of data and pulling tangible insights from data.
- Develop executive dashboards to present the analytical insights derived from the data analysis.
- Adept with using Statistical (like forecasting/modeling, data analysis, regression/optimization models), Machine Learning (Clustering, ensemble.) AI techniques (NLP, CNN)
- Working through the phases of project:
- Define data requirements for creating a model and understand the business problem.
- Clean, aggregate, analyze, interpret data, and carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Set up data for statistical modeling and insight generation.
- Development of statistical/econometric models.
- Working along with the team and consultant/manager.
- Lead and train analyst as per project requirement.
- Supporting development and maintenance of proprietary retail techniques and other knowledge development projects
Qualifications
Who we are looking for?
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related Analytics field
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in Analytics consulting domain with reputed organization is desirable.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
- Candidate must have experience in Retail/CPG Analytics or relevant domain
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python/SQL/Pyspark
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge on services like Orechestration tool, Storage accounts, Databricks etc.
- Fluent in structured and unstructured data, its management and modern data transformation methodologies
- Experience in ETL, Data Lake and data warehouse pipelines
- Exposure to version control tools like Github,Azure Devops etc
- Proficient in Excel, MS word, Power point, etc.
