Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.

Summary: As an Application Lead for Packaged Application Development, you will be responsible for leading the design, build, and configuration of applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve overseeing the security governance of the applications and conducting security risk assessments. Roles & Responsibilities: • Responsible for analysis technology application solutions for applications to meet business requirements in line • Understanding of Cyber Enterprise Recovery Solutions following NIST Cyber Security Model - Protect, Detect Respond, Recover like Vault, Air gapped, immutable backups etc • Create more Cyber Resilience Approach to data protection by modernizing and automating recovery and business continuity strategies • Build roadmap for Cyber Resilience Recovery Solutions and strengthen our resilience capabilities • Apply a risk-based approach to test Response and Recovery capabilities, utilising intelligence-led disruption events and scenarios to inform planning and testing requirements • Align application recovery approach to central recovery testing, that is applied across different approved disruption Events • Validates both the aggregation of multiple individual plan tests, and the necessary mobilization capabilities • Testing of Individual capabilities and contingencies. Validates that individual recovery plans operate as expected for the designed use case • Collaborating with application product delivery teams to ensure that those solutions are fit for purpose and support them with architecture related challenges through delivery • Contribute to project scope and objectives, to ensure feasibility of implementation - consulting with all relevant stakeholders as required • Working with the relevant Technology and Change Project Managers and CTO Enterprise Architects - responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution • Support the development of systems strategies and roadmaps for the supported business area • Provide ad-hoc consultancy as required to the business on technical matters - Oversee the security governance of the applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Conduct security risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of applications, including developers, testers, and project managers. Professional & Technical Skills: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Security Governance. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering secure and reliable applications. - Excellent understanding integration and implementation issues and their architectural implications, and of best practice architectural and design methods. - Can describe existing technology infrastructure across major functions / departments and has a comprehensive grasp of emerging technologies. - Primary Skill: Strong expertise in Security Governance. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Security Risk Assessment. - Experience in designing and implementing security controls and measures to protect applications and data. - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to application security, such as OWASP, NIST, and ISO. - Has a working knowledge of the key issues in implementing secure systems - Broad and solid understanding of the concepts and roles behind service delivery and systems support - Understands different project methodologies, project lifecycles, major phases, dependencies and milestones within a project, and the required documentation needs. - Knowledge of Consumer Credit Risk or related financial areas (e.g. Liquidity, Market Risk) - Experience in conducting security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies and technologies, including Agile, DevOps, and Cloud Computing.
