Summary: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your typical day will involve evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions, and significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation. - Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and performance issues. - Develop and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing. - Continuously improve the automated testing process by identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency. - Ensure that automated tests are integrated into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team. - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automated testing and quality engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Automated Testing. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, and TestNG. - Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins and Git. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing. - Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. - Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby. - Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Automated Testing. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality automated testing solutions. - This position is based at our Chennai office.
