OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
Collection of payments from the customer so as to achieve the set targets. Interact with the BU, thereby ensuring follow up and follow through, managing collection agencies day to day activities.
PROCESSES
• Adherence to NCR policies and procedures
• Follow up with Customers for Collecting outstanding amounts against invoices
• Coding Ledger appropriately
• Meeting Collection Targets monthly
• Provide clear and up to date status of invoices to TL and BU
• Send statements of accounts to customers and BU
• Check receipts from Cashier and help in allocating to open invoices correctly as per Customer Remittance Advice
• Escalate payment issues from customers effectively and efficiently and on times
• Archiving, records retention and audit support


Responsibilities/Authorities
Responsible for delivering the following services:

• Responsible for delivery of the following services:
• Collections: Adherence to client policies and procedures pertaining to Collections.
• Process Collections transactions (e.g. collection activities, updating payment information, reporting, adjustments and write offs, credit and debit memos, invoices cleared/closed, )
• Provide collection reports including those that measure the process against stated targets, and delinquent customer reports.
• Archiving, records retention and audit support.
• Billing/AR Help Desk, including resolving Level 1 collection inquiries, and assisting if required in Level 2 and Level 3 inquires. For reference:
• Level 1 includes but not limited to inquiries regarding: factual information, status, operational procedure, and policy contents.
• Level 2 includes but not limited to inquiries regarding: policy clarification from a policy expert, and assessment of policy or process changes.
