JOB SUMMARY
• The Thought Leadership Associate Manager will work with a team, being led by a Managing Director or Associate Director, driving new-to-market points of view and reports on cross-industry research themes relevant to present and future growth of Accenture. The Associate Manager will be responsible to shape differentiated research ideas and actively conduct research using relevant research methods and tools in collaboration with research teams within Accenture Research, its various businesses and outside Accenture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• We are looking for someone who is equipped with the following core skill sets:
o Insightful and analytical thinking: we are keen to have an individual capable of identifying, developing and driving differentiated data-driven management insights.
o Business-writing proficiency: the candidate must be skilled at penning points of view and research reports that bring insights to life for a C-suite audience.
o Quantitative and qualitative research methods and tools: the researcher must be adept with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including structuring excel models, regression and time-series analysis; case study research; conducting financial analysis of company performance and interpreting quantitative data.
o Digital acumen: the candidate must have business (and not detailed technical) knowledge on digital technologies and their applications to driving value across various industries.
o Collaboration skills: the researcher must be open to collaborating with a diverse multi-cultural and multi-lingual workforce constituting women, LGBT communities and individuals with disabilities, amongst others. Experience of working with remote teams’ will be welcome.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• We are looking for someone, who is passionate about driving differentiated management insights into the market; deeply interested in thinking out-of-the-box; is capable of sharing thoughts in an executive friendly language; possesses strong analytical and issue-based problem solving skills; is well-versed with quantitative and qualitative research tools; has business acumen; and a client service mindset. Of paramount importance are tenacity, personal drive and an eagerness to learn and apply new skills and knowledge.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• M.B.A (Finance/Marketing); M.A./M.Sc. (Economics); M.Sc. (Statistics); M.A./M.Sc. (Econometrics).
