Practice Overview:
Life Sciences & Healthcare Team is one of the Industry Programs within Accenture’s Capability Network (CN) team, which sits under Accenture Strategy and Consulting. Our practitioners bring in right blend of strategic and operational experience and deep understanding of industry to help clients identify and address their greatest challenges in order to achieve maximum shareholder value. Our team works hand-in-hand with the world’s most successful Life Sciences & Healthcare companies to improve their performance across the entire value chain. We provide end-to-end business services as well as individual consulting, outsourcing and technology projects around the globe in all strategic and functional areas underpinned by our mature and market relevant offerings and capabilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications: MBA from Tier-1 B-Schools or have rich relevant Healthcare Care Management experience (US Payer) in case not from Tier-1 B-School. In case, the candidate doesn’t hold an MBA, postgraduate degree with clinical experience of working in Care Management programs/Integrated Clinical care with a Healthcare consulting background will be a good fit as well. Experience: Management Consulting + Track skills General Business Consulting •Passion to solve complex problems for the Healthcare industry and the initiative and ability to do so independently •Can draw insights from financial, operational and quantitative analysis and integrate these insights and findings towards hypothesis and come up with overall plan to drive care management strategies •Can identify Healthcare Payer/Provider company’s key cost and value drivers and explain their priority / influence on business performance •Practical skills to create highly visual, concise & well-structured deliverables for presentations to client stakeholders •Can develop strategies and operating models towards enabling care management and clinical process improvement programs. Also, can assess readiness and points of greatest impact •Intellectual curiosity in both problem solving and knowledge acquisition, and an ability to view issues with a fresh perspective •Manages proposals and business development efforts and coordinates with other colleagues to create consensus driven deliverables. •Can define and execute a transformational change plan aligned with client’s business strategy and context for change. Can engage stakeholders in the change journey and build commitment for change. Understands implications a new strategy will have on day to day cross functional operations of a business • Has good sales acumen, applies client knowledge, Accenture sales, opportunity management and contract processes to structure high impact solutions for clients. • Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment juggling and going the extra mile towards executing on multiple priorities • Ability to deal with ambiguity, strategic agility, manage diversity and drive for outcomes • Top tier problem solving and analytical skills, as well as critical thinking and decision-making capabilities Client and Project Management • Can take ownership of deliverables/workstreams and manage client and stakeholder expectations • Develops trust-based relationships with clients and manages client expectations • Proven abilities to deliver results as an individual contributor as well as working in cross functional global teams • Can work with client leadership to reprioritize activities / alter plans as required and can influence clients to secure cooperation for action Communication •Has excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can articulate and share points well
