About the role
The India Recruiting Director drives strategy and thought leadership for recruiting in the India GU, with the main objectives for Accenture to be an employer of choice in India and attract the best talent from the market. There are three aspects to the role:
1. Driving and managing cross-entity and GU recruiting practices, analytics, innovation-led initiatives, processes and systems enhancements and implementation; this includes HR service delivery and recruiting transformation underway as HR rotates to the new
2. Delivering to recruiting targets set in the GU, across businesses and entities, at the entry-levels and at the leadership levels and for executive levels in Accenture Technology centre; and
3. Managing GU recruiting metrics, supplier relationships, budgets and compliances.
To deliver key outcomes for the GU, the role must partner actively and closely with entity recruiting teams in India, global recruiting, the HR Shared Services team in Operations that supports delivery, and other functions such as CIO, Marketing and Communications, and Finance. Active collaboration across complex relationships is key in Accenture and any role at this level in the Company demands extensive application of programme management principles to manage stakeholders.
Summary of responsibilities
• Responsible for engaging with HR, recruiting and business leadership in addressing key recruitment challenges, developing the strategic approach for and leading initiatives in sourcing, assessment and other areas to support all recruiting teams;
• Plan for and deliver to recruiting targets for campus, and leadership and ATC executive roles;
• Ensure one Accenture face to the market and work with Marketing and Communications on all external branding;
• Drive market intelligence on talent, competitor landscape, and geographical recruitment trends and practices, providing guidance and support as needed to Entity Recruiting Leads;
• Drive innovations, enhancements and efficiencies in current and new recruiting processes and systems; develop approach for initiatives and implement within agreed timelines;
• Manage and deliver to GU recruiting budgets (specific focus on cost optimization through the right channel mix), GU metrics and GU recruiting compliance; and
• The role is the main contact for all HR (global and local), finance and marketing teams for all cross-geography matters.
