Our practitioners bring in right blend of strategic and operational experience and deep understanding of industry to help clients identify and address their greatest challenges in order to achieve maximum shareholder value.This role is for an Analyst in the Life Sciences industry team within the Products Operating Group in Accenture Management Consulting’s Capability Network .CN. practice. CN is being grown aggressively to service overseas markets and has grown from startup mode to over 2000 consultants today. “Products” is one of Accentures five Operating Groups. The Products operating group is fueled by the power of its five industry groups— Automotive and Industrial Equipment Transportation and Travel Services Consumer Goods and Services Health and Life Sciences and Retail. Given the diversity of industries Products is uniquely positioned to help clients achieve high performance with differentiated industry functional and technology transformation offerings.The Life Sciences industry group works with the following industries:• Pharmaceuticals• Biotechnology• Medical products and devicesand other companies across the life-sciences value chain provides services such as large-scale business and technology transformation targeted business performance improvement and post-merger integration. Our key areas of focus include Marketing and sales supply chain manufacturing research and development. Additionally we operate life sciences-specific business process and IT outsourcing services across all geographies in the global industry.We work for large high-profile clients and develop strong lasting relationships with them. On average we have been maintaining client relationship on an average of 10 years. Our clients represent 70% of the Products companies in the Fortune 500. Our clients include 21 of the 26 health care pharmaceutical and health care wholesale companies in the FORTUNE Global 500. Key responsibilities of the role:General Business Consulting• Understands balance sheets or financial statements describes inter-relationship between statements and draws conclusions about a company’s performance. Does financial analysis and uses forecasting techniques• Can solve an unstructured problem where brief provided is minimum. Solves the problem by breaking down into structured modules. Follows fundamentals of issue based problem solving• Can construct basic components of business case and value analyses eg market share sales gross margin capital employed• Can perform Research and Analysis of client’s business market competitors and make appropriate inferences even if information available is insufficient. Can interpret data in context of industry and company specific issues• Understands and describes key components of journey management efforts and their relationship with projects and programs.• Can provide proposal support with minimal supervision. Can articulate ideas prepare business case• Can successfully sell and deliver projects across Industry groups or SLsClient and Project Management• Has strong project management skills and can own project management for module or part of a project• Works on client site with minimal supervision• Can talk to clients and stakeholders independently both onshore and onsiteCommunication• Has very strong written and verbal communication skills. Confidently communicates and articulates. Identifies escalates tracks and resolves issues in a timely manner• Has very strong deck writing skills. Can make a crisp deck with a compelling storylineMakes presentation to the client may lead some presentations.
