Job Summary:
The Workplace Supervisor is accountable for the supervision and delivery of various office support services within area of responsibility. The Workplace Supervisor is responsible for the service quality and productivity of their staff via feedback and direct observation. Where applicable, the Supervisor manages contracts and relationships with external vendors and/or commodities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the day-to-day implementation, delivery and quality of various office support services for a specific location or function.
• Manage resources to ensure the delivery service levels are achieved.
• Manage positive relationships with all internal and external customers/vendors and independently resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor quality and productivity of staff via feedback and direct observation.
• Responsible for people management processes to include career counseling, performance management, training development needs and disciplinary action when necessary in accordance with local legislations and rules.
• Supervise and evaluate work of team members.
• Provide team building, employee recognition and motivational activities
• Provide input into headcount and direct non-payroll plans.
• Monitor budgets, report variances and recommend corrective action.
• Review and approve payment requests and vendor invoices as necessary.
• Participate in local, national and global special projects; act as change agent for local implementations.
• Participate in recruiting activities and induction programs as necessary.
• Manage contract relationships with external service providers.
• Review and improve service processes to optimize local service delivery.
• Provide data on operational effectiveness to management as needed.
• Monitor attendance and verify Time Reports.
• May be single point of contact for Workplace in a specific location.

Relationships:

Reports to: City/Zonal Workplace Lead

Supervises: Supervises approximately 5-15 employees

External Relationships: Builds and maintains relationships with external service providers.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate, preferably in hospitality or any operational related streams.

Work Experience: Three - five years’ experience in a Workplace /customer services environment preferred.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Ability to take initiative and successfully lead others.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude and high degree of self-confidence.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability to work well with all levels of management, staff and external service
