  • Project Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

  • Job Requirements :

    • Key Responsibilities : • Excellent troubleshooting skills on Sybase Database technologies• Working on Multiplex servers like versioning, backups, weekend maintenance activities• Client installation of Sybase IQ• IQ Database Restoration• Configuring the Sybase IQ parameters• IQ database performance issues, IQ Database upgrade• Applying patches on Production servers• Maintain the database remote in sync in multiplex setup• Sybase SQL Anywhere replication

    • Technical Experience : • Min 3 years of experience in managing Sybase SQL Anywhere instances and Sybase SQL • Min 1 year experience in managing either MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2 or MSSQL technology• Candidate should have 4 -6 yrs of hands-on experience in managing Sybase Database Administration• Hands-on experience in Sybase ASE Sybase Replication and Sybase IQ• Experience on cross platform migrations and replications is required• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes

    • Professional Attributes : • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment• Desire to work in an information systems environment• Excellent leadership, Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

    • Educational Qualification : Bachelors Degree
