Security PM and GRC Specialist

We are looking for passionate, tech-savvy and innovative professionals with expertise and experience in security project management and governance and compliance consulting. The role is responsible for all efforts to reach a state of continuous compliance by partnering and engaging with our clients to help them reduce security risks and maintain compliance.

What will you do?

Participate or lead interesting and exciting assignments with Irish clients. Your tasks will include:

  • Gathering security requirements, developing roadmaps and plans for implementing security capabilities in large and complex organisations.

  • Managing and delivering security engagements, including producing detailed documentation and reports, and quality assuring the work produced by the team.

  • Managing large teams and stakeholders whilst perform all expected project management activities.

  • Establishing and mobilising security governance for individual security domains and overall oversight.

  • Providing advisory and guidance on industry regulatory standards and their application in organisations.

Qualifications

What we expect from you?

  • Act as a subject matter expert within the security and regulatory field, delivering sound advice to our clients whilst building strong working relationships at the same time.

  • Experience handling security projects in traditional and agile delivery environments with mix of project resources (Accenture, client, third-party).

  • Excellent knowledge of industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing such as GDPR, ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST 800-53, etc.

  • Business development skills to assist the security practice with, bid writing, supporting proposals and developing RFP responses.

  • Proven track record in delivering projects in different security domains.

  • Experience in estimation, planning, roadmap and case development.

  • Familiarity with security technologies and cloud platforms.

  • Experience in the documentation and design of Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Ability to work in complex organisations directly with clients and under little supervision.

  • Problem solving skills to resolve issues effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism and integrity.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

A passion for new and emerging technologies within the security realm



Qualifications

Nice to Haves:

  • 3+ years of security project management and GRC experience

  • Consulting experience

  • Relevant security and project management certifications such as SSCP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 lead Implementor / Auditor, PMP, PRINCE2

  • Relevant third-level qualification
