Job Description

  • The Payments Compliance team is responsible for ensuring that products and services across the social networking platform are reviewed in line with relevant laws and to ensure compliance with applicable trade and economic sanctions. They also complete enhanced Due Diligence and once checks have been passed, enable Customers, Charities and Gaming to receive payments or purchase products on the Facebook platform. They review Payments to Facebook Advertisement , Payments from the social networking Suppliers and Payments via their Charities .

    A new role now exists within the Production Team in the Due Diligence Tower.

    All applicants will be expected to display high levels of knowledge of specific business critical activities within at least one of the PayCom Towers.

    All applicants will also be expected to be able to demonstrate examples of high levels of attention to specific detail for reporting and documenting of business processes and outputs.

    All applicants are also expected to display a deep understanding of the below
    Know your Customers Understanding of who your customers are to inform decision making
    Anti Money Laundering Ability to rapidly identify illegal activities to ensure compliance with economic sanctions
    Suspicious Activities Ability to identify and report possible terrorism financing

    Roles within the Due Diligence Tower involve significant amounts of interaction with various Process Owners and Quality Control or Quality Assurance Teams and applicants should be able to demonstrate previous experience with dealing with a number of these key stakeholder groups in previous roles.

    Provide quality review service and consistently meet SLA targets while always focusing on resolving cases efficiently and utilizing time productively
    Identify and help minimize the risk posed by suspicious patterns and trends

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Payments Compliance legal in a tech industry environment. Risk management knowledge preferred
    Excellent problem solving and organization Skills
    Strong attention to details
    Self motivated to work independently, with minimal supervision
    Strong work ethic, taking personal accountability for accuracy and high quality outputs and demonstrating integrity to core team values
    Positive, target delivery focused attitude and experience of a service delivery environment desirable
    Excellent time management skills and able to proactively and independently manage workload and targets
    Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to express ideas and concepts both orally and in writing, recognizing the audience and communicating appropriately
    Familiar with MS Office and or Google applications and able to manage multiple tools web browsers at one time
    Team player capable of proactively learning on the job
    Bachelor s degree and project management experience preferred
    Evidence of stakeholder management and cross functional collaboration is a bonus
    Understanding of compliance requirements and knowledge of compliance operations related to process creation, testing and documentation
    Experience working as part of a global, cross functional team in multiple geographic regions and working with all levels
