Job Title:          Communications Specialist

Location:          Dublin
 
 
Job Description:
  • Develop appropriate communication plans to ensure specific messages are delivered to required audiences.
  • Provide communications expertise across simultaneous internal IT projects
  • Create, manage the approval process and distribute mass communications to all or a subset of Accenture
  • Provide on-going advice and review of communications delivered for assigned projects
  • IT communications subject matter expert, ensure internal IT communicators are compliant with internal communications architecture
  • Monitor compliance with internal communications policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate the IT Communication Network, 50-person, global group of IT communications representatives
  • Participate in emergency response; develop and distribute communications as necessary.
  • Work directly with leadership to provide timely communications response to required audiences
  • Assist in the development, production and distribution of key technical communications vehicles
  • Provide writing, editing, approval and creative support
  • Maximize performance of team, providing support for other areas as needed
 
Work Experience: 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal communications or roles with strong writing components in a global organization.
 


Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree, university degree or equivalent
                              
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Communications, marketing, change management experience or degree
  • Knowledge of CIO Organization and internal IT initiatives
  • MS Office365 skills-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams etc.
  • Familiarity and experience in Accenture’s internal communications publishing and social media tools Accenture Mailer, Wordpress, Stream, Circles, Media Exchange, etc. 
  • Understanding of Accenture brand guidelines and writing style
  • HTML, Graphic Design, and or Video Production skills
  • Experience in managing activities via an external vendor

  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience of working in a virtual global team environment
  • Adaptable to new and changing environments
  • Ability to work independently

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
