We partner with our clients to deliver enterprise-level Scientific and Laboratory Informatics software development and deployment projects, focused on innovation and a truly connected laboratory environment.

To support our growing client base across Europe, we are establishing a new Irish-based team with Laboratory & Scientific Informatics backgrounds. This a rare opportunity to join a global team that is focused on making an impact and changing the lives of people everywhere!

Your responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and IT professionals and clients to identify and understand their business requirements, contribute to the design and implementation of new technologies to revolutionize scientific & laboratory processes
  • Create high-quality user and functional requirements and use cases for Scientific informatics software (LIMS, CDS, ELN, LES, Lab Instrumentation)
  • Initiate and maintain required regulatory and SDLC documentation, collecting information and monitoring business analysis activities
  • Build and create "as-is" and "to-be" narratives, gap documentation and co-ordination of defect triage
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a requirements traceability matrix
  • Perform low and high-level research into business processes, SOPs, system documentation and work instructions
  • Facilitate one-on-one interviews and workshops with business users
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities and changes required to successfully adopt new laboratory informatics solutions (internally and externally)
  • Maintain excellent client relationships
  • Review and estimate change requests
  • Contribute to all areas of system implementation including but not limited to vendor interaction, system compatibility, change control, qualification, deployment, and training
  • Work with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as FDA, CAPA, CLIA, GxP, HL7 as well as internal policies and processes
  • Analyze requirements to determine priority and business value
  • Create and deliver training materials to end users
  • Collect and monitor progress on project activities from resources
  • Determine and document overall workstream approach
  • Plan and estimate activities within the workstream
  • Provide leadership for all resources within a specific workstream including client, vendor, consultants and associates
  • Determine if defects are valid and disposition them

Qualifications and Background:

  • Undergraduate degree (Life Science or Pharma-related)
  • 3 - 5 Years business analysis experience within a Laboratory Informatics and regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of configuration and functional design and knowledge of the Pharmaceutical IT landscape
  • Solid understanding of single lab type, single industry and single system type
  • Experience working in a large global multinational where you have been part of large-scale implementation and deployments
  • Strong client-engagement skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Understanding of ITIL / Agile / Waterfall methodologies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
