Job Title: People Advisor Specialist

 

Job Summary -


The HR People Advisor Specialist partners with Accenture Operations Business Leads to provide insight, advice and guidance on HR matters in support of business strategy and to optimise employee experiences.

Key activities include:

  • Support employees throughout the HR life cycle (i.e. Orientation, Integration, Onboarding, Transitions & Exit)
  • Actively influence and shape the Accenture Operations business agenda, ensure talent is a key part of business planning
  • Develop service management approach for stakeholder group to drive visible HR presence across client sites
  • Proactively provide data insights and recommendations to support the business in decision making  
  • Seek out opportunities to demonstrate a change mindset, identify opportunities and implement actions to drive improvements in the way we work
  • Provide guidance and coaching to employees and business area leads on employee relations, people matters, performance and talent management, career planning and development
  • Manage the monthly payroll process and working with Recruitment and Accenture Operations Leadership to execute the quarterly promotions cycle
  • Partner with business leads to manage people related change programs and employee engagement activities
  • Manage the performance achievement processes by supporting Business Leads and providing guidance and training as needed, reviewing input and answering HR issues and queries
  • Manage the compensation/salary administration process by reviewing salaries, obtaining approval for all final salaries, ensuring budget compliance and resolving disputes between stakeholders
  • Educate supervisors / career counsellors on all people matters, including legal implications of not following a proper process, and monitoring their execution of agreed plans
  • Drive the utilisation of employee enablement tools and services (i.e. myRequests, Peopline, myDirectory) ensuring the right work is completed by the right people in the right place
  • Ensure continuous teaming with UK Accenture Operations Field HR team and broader Ireland HR team
  • Support cross HR projects as needed

Qualifications and Experience


Education

  • A Bachelor degree with a focus in Human Resources Management or Business Management related discipline

Professional Qualifications

  • A Human Resources designation/certification preferred

Work Experience

  • Min 4 years Human Resources generalist experience
  • HR domain expertise to include employee relations
  • Proven partnering capability combined with a demonstrated ability to influence
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong coaching and partnering capability combined with a demonstrated ability to influence
  • Experience in building successful and productive working relationships
  • Experience managing complex people change programs
  • Ability to work with agility and use good judgement to prioritise effectively
