Movement to Work

What we do

The need

Our approach

We co-founded Movement to Work with the aim of providing 100,000 young unemployed people with the training and work experience they need to find employment.

Accenture has committed to delivering in-house placements equivalent to ~1% of our UK permanent workforce each year.

We offer multi-week placements which include vocational training, employability skills and meaningful work experience to help kick-start careers in the technology and digital sectors.

We support participants to apply for Accenture’s Technology Degree apprenticeship programme as well as job opportunities with other corporates and SMEs.

The outcomes

Shajida's story

"Movement to Work gave me the skills and confidence to successfully apply for the Accenture Apprenticeship, and I hope that many other young people will have those opportunities in years to come."
