Accenture Operations is Accenture's Delivery Team for the full range of Business Services offered to our client’s working across the entire range of industry sectors and Offerings. Roles available can include Solution and Offering Development, Mobilisation and Project Management, Delivery, Account leadership and a wide range of Business Excellence and Technology roles.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
There’s real variety for graduates who join us. In your first two years the programme offers you the opportunity to rotate across the following areas of Accenture Operations:
Business Operations Delivery - Deliver services to our clients in core business processes. Provide technical support in a functional or industry specific area with a focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement. You’ll learn to identify associated risks and security requirements linked to the business process.
Mobilisation - Mobilise the people, technology and processes of our clients to deliver stable, workable and commercially viable client services. You’ll work as part of a project team with Mobilisation Leads, Outsourcing Solutions Architects and Programme Managers to define, build and implement projects and solutions.
Solutions Architecture - Interpret and translate client requirements into deliverable solutions that create value for Accenture and our clients. You’ll work within a project team to develop the schedule, work plan, resource plan and costs. You’ll become a key member of the sales team and represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal teams.
Account Leadership - You’ll develop your skills to own a client relationship for a particular contract in one or more of our Operations offerings. This may involve providing support in over-seeing various projects and really understanding the client’s needs, while keeping up to date with changes in the industry.
DO I QUALIFY?
As an Associate in Operations, you need to have gained or will obtain at least a 2:1 in a Business, Economics or a technically focused degree such as Computer Science.
Ours is an industry that’s driven by client demand. Which means that, we have to place people on the projects where our clients need them most. So, as well as being flexible, an open mind, coupled with patience and adaptability are a real bonus.
Overall, you’ll need a real passion for the Operations industry and a desire to grow your skills. If you’re analytical, a strong communicator and love to problem-solve within a team environment, we’d like to hear from you.
WHERE WILL I BE BASED?
You’ll begin the programme with an intensive 4-6 week induction with your graduate start group. You’ll be introduced to all aspects of Accenture Operations and the induction includes:
There’s excellent training and support throughout the programme and you’ll have the opportunity to be stretched as you work on new projects with our clients. In all, the range of experiences on offer, means you can rapidly become an expert in your field and continue to grow professionally.
One of the main benefits of this graduate scheme is the opportunity to experience every aspect of the full end-to-end Accenture Operations process. Over two years and with four rotations, you will get to see how a deal is shaped in the sales process, build a solution to match the client’s ask, mobilise the necessary teams and infrastructure to do the work and finally, deliver it. This allows you to have a unique viewpoint on the lifecycle of a project to help you finally choose “a home” at the end of the programme.

The info you need to know about applying to an Accenture programme.
Applications for most programmes open in the autumn. To apply, you need to complete an online profile. You can only apply to one programme in any six month period but if you are unsuccessful you can apply to other roles.
If you are suitable for the role, you’ll be invited to our Discovery Portal. This is an interactive experience and takes about an hour, but there’s no time limit. You’ll receive feedback within a few days.
If you’re successful at the Discovery Portal stage, you’ll be invited to one of our assessment centres where you’ll take part in a variety of activities designed to help us find out what your strengths are.
For some of our programmes, the final stage will be one or two technical interviews with managers from the specialist area you have applied to work in. We’ll give you lots of advice before your interviews.
Well done! If you’re successful in all the stages we’ll offer you a place on the programme and tell you your start date. If you don’t pass, we’ll give you the opportunity to get feedback.
Three months before your start date, we’ll ask you to provide evidence of your academic results and two references. We’ll then send you details of your training week where we’ll welcome you into Accenture!
