As an Oracle Business Intelligence Technical Specialist you will be part of a project team delivering high performance and quality solutions to our clients in the areas of Customer Relationship, Risk Management, Finance and Performance Management, Supply Chain.
And this across all industries: Financial Services, Pharma and Health Care, Telecommunications, Products and Resources and Public Service.
You will participate in the full lifecycle of BI projects: from understanding the functional analysis, over creating the technical design, building the solution, preparing and executing the unit tests, to release management and supporting the system testing.
You will be involved in the process of:
Analyzing & questioning the functional requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
Developing, testing and deploying end-to end processes and applications using ODI & OBIEE
Reporting of the status and potential risks to the project management
Coaching of development resource
Continuously suggesting improvements to key stakeholders and clients
Setting up demo environments or Proof of Concepts for our clients
Work within a multi-language, multicultural, multi-discipline environment
· Candidates should hold a Degree in Informatics or equivalent by experience;
· Preferred experience with one or more of the following technologies for at least 3 years:
o End-user reporting tools: Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE), Business Objects ...
o ETL-tools: Oracle Data Integrator(ODI), Oracle Warehouse Builder(OWB)...
o Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL is a must
Additionally, candidates should have:
· Good problem analysis and problem solving skills
· Strong sense for accuracy
· Proven ability to apply analytical, creative and structured thought
· Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
· Ability to work independently
· Written and oral communication skills in English, Dutch and French
