Our practice is a very active community and is growing rapidly.  We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our team and share our passion for Talent, Workforce Planning and Learning and Development.

We are empowering organisations to make talent and workforce development decisions based on insights and we give people the tools and roadmaps to do their best work. We work with our clients to define their future talent requirements and strategies for acquiring the talent and capabilities that they require today and for the future.  We create digital experiences employees love and teach companies how to grow great, forward-thinking leaders.


As a leader of the team, you will help clients to shape and implement new skilling initiatives, and you will be able to share your experiences of the different ways that people learn. You will advise on the use of the latest techniques and tools to help companies support their employees to do their best. You will share experience and approaches for addressing critical skills gaps, especially in digital technologies.  You’re also able to help clients choose the best way to approach learning on the job so they can transform their companies as they prepare for the future.  

You run your project like a business and can navigate your team through complexity. You are looking for ways to differentiate yourself as a thought leader internal and external to Accenture. You also are an integral part of your practice, nurturing the careers of other practitioners, participating in recruiting new talent, and cultivating a close practice community.

The work:

  • Shape and scope talent and learning opportunities to help our clients address their requirements.  You will lead in taking opportunities through the full business development cycle from initiation to contract. 
  • Lead responses to learning RFPs and RFQs that are received from potential clients for the provision of learning services.
  • Appling market leading technologies and insights to create a future proof workforce and drive continuous learning and development.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior clients to understand their needs and tailoring our services to meet their current challenges.
  • Delivering outcomes at all levels of the organisation that really make a different to both the workforce and the wider goals of the organisation. 
  • Manage teams and support them to deliver outcomes for our clients.
  • Understand Accenture’s global Talent and Skilling capabilities and articulate to potential clients the value we can bring.
  • Work with clients and use data to spot the changing skills workers will need and build learning and career pathways for employees.
  • Apply learning strategies and a digital learning background to equip talent with skills by creating on-demand, continuous and personalised digital learning experiences.
     

What You'll Need:

  • Experience working in the consulting sector in a senior management role focused on Talent, Workforce Planning and Learning and Development.
  • A real passion for leading workforce planning and learning programmes and a very strong understanding of the skills, skills disruption, adult learning and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell talent and learning solutions to prospective clients, including gathering requirements and designing solutions to address their needs.
  • Experience at responding to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Deep understanding of learning trends and learning technologies.
  • Experience building new capabilities in organisations, preferably in digital technologies and information technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, listening and negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of working in fast paced client environments.
  • Excellent degree results or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
